Yurts have been a distinctive feature of life in central Asia. Thousands of years were used as primary residence for nomads. Yurt is a round – shaped, sophisticated constructions with a dome. It consists of three main parts and many other smaller parts. Three main parts include: Shanyrak – top of the yurt, Kerege – walls carcass and Uwyk – a carcass part from kerege to shanyrak. The carcass is usually covered with pieces of felt from outside and decorated with carpets from inside. The diameter of the yurt is 4,30 m.The height of kerege ( wall carcass) is 1,6 m.
